User Agreement

1. Who we are

TripWithMe (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website and services available at tripwithme.com.ro and related domains (the “Service”). Contact: hello@joinmytrip.app.

By creating an account, browsing logged-in areas, creating trips, joining crews, or purchasing plans, you agree to this User Agreement and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under applicable law.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.

3. The Service

TripWithMe helps travellers discover destinations, create or join group trips, chat with crew members, and manage related membership plans.

We provide a coordination and discovery platform. We are not a travel agency, tour operator, airline, hotel, or insurer unless we explicitly say otherwise in writing.

Trip listings, prices, availability, stay details, and itineraries are created by users (organizers and travellers). We do not guarantee that any trip will take place as described.

4. Accounts and profiles

You may sign up with email/password or supported social login providers.

Profile details (including travel preferences, languages, and match questionnaire answers) are used to personalize crew matching and trip discovery.

We may request identity or profile verification. Verification is not a warranty of another user’s trustworthiness.

5. Trips, crews, and community rules

Organizers may create trips, set capacity, preferences, and join rules. Travellers may request to join; acceptance may depend on organizer approval, crew votes, or other product rules.

You agree not to harass, discriminate against, scam, spam, or otherwise harm other users. Do not post illegal, deceptive, or infringing content.

You are solely responsible for arrangements you make outside the Service (flights, lodging bookings, deposits paid directly to third parties, in-person meetups).

6. Payments and plans

Paid features (such as TripWithMe+, TripLeader Pro, boosts, or success fees) are billed through our payment processor (Stripe). Prices and plan limits are shown in the product before checkout.

Unless required by law or stated at purchase, fees are non-refundable after the related digital access or feature has been delivered.

Third-party bookings (hotels, Booking.com links, events) are governed by those providers’ terms. TripWithMe is not a party to those contracts.

7. Content license

You keep ownership of content you upload (photos, trip descriptions, messages). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the Service.

You confirm you have the rights to upload that content and that it does not violate others’ rights.

8. Intellectual property

TripWithMe name, logos, product UI, and related brand assets are protected. See our Trademarks notice for permitted and prohibited use.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect match scores, successful trip fill rates, or the conduct of other users.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TripWithMe and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, trips, bookings, or data.

Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) EUR 50.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer-protection law.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, create risk for other users, or if required by law.

Sections that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, liability, and governing law) continue after termination.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Romania have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence where applicable.

13. Changes

We may update this User Agreement. Material changes will be indicated by updating the effective date on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
